Images and analysis in Oxel

Oxel processes images locally on your computer. The current free release does not require an account and does not upload your images, regions, or measurements to Oxel Labs. It does not include application analytics or advertising tracking. Opening an external support or website link uses your browser or email application.

Website visits

This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cookies. Our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. Your browser may cache website files.

Support messages and suggestions

When you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate issues, and improve Oxel. Messages are processed by Apple iCloud Mail, which hosts our support inbox. Please send only information you are comfortable sharing and avoid sensitive image data.

We retain support records only as needed to address the request and maintain a record of the issue. You can ask us to delete your correspondence, subject to any records we must retain for legal reasons.

Optional payments

Optional support payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. Oxel Labs may receive your email address, payment amount, and transaction details, but does not receive or store full card numbers. Payments are optional and do not unlock features in the free release.

We use transaction records for accounting, payment support, and resolving refunds or disputes. We retain records for these purposes and for any required legal retention period. You can contact us about personal information associated with a support payment.

Your choices

You can use the free desktop release without sending us a message or making a payment. Contact us if you want to access, correct, or delete information you have provided in a support request.
